We’ve noticed lots of our clients are spending most of their time on internal communication. Many have taken advantage of the lockdown to trial new ways of engaging with staff.
Most notably has been the shift to digital channels and networks to stay in touch with staff while working remotely. Some have even said they are more social with their colleagues as a result.
One popular method has been the frequent use of interactive webinars, often run by executive teams, to keep staff motivated and updated.
Other creative approaches include virtual town halls, online messaging platforms, interactive up-skilling courses and even the professional use of the viral app House Party.
Internal communication should not be undermined during troubled periods. It is not worth your time worrying about your external outreach, when communicating with your staff is the most important thing to do.
